CAPRI SUN

Capri Sun is an iconic kids brand. Everybody knows the shiny pouch and the little straw. When they came to Saatchi, they wanted us to create work that spoke to both their core audience — and a slightly older demographic. We created the work below — and scored a nod in the One Show.


THE CAPRI KEY

Social interaction was a key part of strategy with the brand. So when we heard that Niles Paul of the Washington Redskins happened to tweet that his fellow players kept stealing his Capri Suns, we jumped into action and created the piece below.


THE CAPRI IV

We were shooting a Capri Sun spot with pro wrestler John Cena and we found out he dinged his elbow. (Well, he called it a "ding." In reality, he had dislocated it and it had become grotesquely and painfully swollen.) So to help him feel better and to show our appreciation for soldiering through, we created this Capri Sun-infused IV bag. Medicinally it's pretty much useless. But we got a laugh out of him. So that counts for something.
